The NEC Group has announced a new long-term food and beverage partnership with Levy UK + Ireland.

Levy is responsible for all food and beverage operations at NEC’s major venues, including NEC, ICC, Vox, Utilita Arena Birmingham, BP Pulse Live, and several regional partner venues.

This partnership will provide greater quality, more choice, and flexibility in offering, as well as improving customer journeys using technology installed to further improve the guest experience.

The NEC Group will benefit from Levy’s greater purchasing and procurement capabilities, operational and service standards, and sustainability and safety best practices.

As part of the transition, 330 catering colleagues will be transferred to Levy, providing access to new training, career advancements and development opportunities within Levy, while providing continuity to the NEC workforce.

Mel Smith, CEO of NEC Group, commented: “We look forward to working with Levy, a true leader and innovator within the food and beverage sector and looking forward to further strengthening our offering. Levy’s proven expertise in enhancing the guest experience will make it an ideal partner for the NEC Group.

“We’re looking forward to seeing you in the future,” said Jon Davies, CEO of Levy. “We are extremely excited to partner with the NEC Group, a great opportunity for Levy to create a truly memorable experience for the millions of visitors who pass through the NEC Group venues each year.
