The actress and director wore a black dress with a statement cutout that ran from below her bustline to below her waist. Crafted from monochromatic black fabric, the dress recalls elements of the dark glamor trend on the red carpet, taking inspiration from Gothic and Victorian styles and adding a modern twist.
The dress featured a V-shaped neckline, puffy statement sleeves and ruched fabric just above the wrists. The skirt of the dress included tiered elements in hip-hugging material, giving way to a flowing, voluminous style.

Wilde’s premiere look wasn’t completely black and white. As for accessories, the actress and director wore emerald earrings and a chalcedony, emerald and diamond ring courtesy of Hanut Singh.
The glamor for the actress featured her wild hair pulled back in a bun, makeup highlights such as bold eyebrows, dark, dramatic lined eyes that enhanced the dark appeal of her look, and a neutral lip. Wilde’s look was overseen by stylist Carla Welch.

Under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since 2016, Saint Laurent designs are infused with Vaccarello’s sensibilities, bringing a modern edge to the storied French luxury fashion house.
“He has a very feminine, short, leather-heavy style, so the kinship is clear in that respect and I can very well imagine how he builds on the foundation laid by Hedi Slimane.” Olivier Chatenay, owner of vintage clothing and consultant on Bertrand Bonello’s Saint Laurent film, spoke about Vaccarello at the time, when he took over the creative direction of the house from Hedi Slimane.
