Through user-driven digital innovation, we reimagine the future of global health and create sustainable value for our users, teams, partners, and communities.
OROT, the Connected Health Incubator, was one of the first incubators established within a healthcare setting in Canada. It was established to address the need to develop and integrate innovations with demonstrated feasibility and acceptability in the medical field. OROT continues to lead the way in co-creation and multidisciplinary collaboration, connecting healthcare professionals and end users with industry partners to build and launch digital innovations that improve people’s lives.
OROT, in partnership with CIUSSS West-Central Montreal and the world-renowned, award-winning Jewish General Hospital, fosters innovation by providing access to the expertise of users, clinicians, researchers, and infrastructure. To provide a more balanced approach to accelerating digital innovation and ensuring market success, OROT works closely with other complementary organizations such as small, medium, and large industry partners, research and innovation centres, accelerators, economic development, AI consortia, philanthropic organizations, governments and patients, and professional associations. The coalition brings together existing players and infrastructure with highly complementary expertise towards the common goal of accelerating and implementing innovation.
