Leave it to Pharrell Williams to rewrite the style code from the front row of Paris Fashion Week.
What are his recent legal changes? men’s wedding ring.
The multi-hyphenate attended a number of shows from Dior Homme to Sacai over the weekend, accenting his ring finger with a traditional gold band featuring a giant stone. This ring pairing was similar to the typical engagement ring that most women wear after their wedding. It also bore a distinct resemblance to the duo worn by his wife Helen Lasichan next to him.

Williams’ diamond differed from his partner’s in size and shape. His diamonds appeared to be double carats arranged east to west, while Rashichan’s diamonds appeared to have three rows of diamonds set on a narrow band. The overlay of the wedding ring combined with the seal on the creative director’s right ring finger is also overly stylized, taking it to a higher level than Rashichang’s engagement ring.

While it’s not at all unusual for him to accessorize with jewelry (he routinely wears diamond studs and voluminous chains), he hasn’t worn a stack like this yet. This style choice stuck out like a proverbial middle finger to the gender norms associated with engagement and wedding rings, providing a modern blueprint for men who have traditionally left diamond adornment to their partners. Given that Williams already had a penchant for statement jewelry, budding men’s accessory enthusiasts will likely adopt a more understated version of his “engagement ring,” perhaps in a smaller size. Think studded bands and half-carat rows.

Williams and Rashichan have topped the leaderboard in the couples fashion game many times. The couple, who married in 2013, favor a high-fashion street style that combines functional footwear with unique designer basics. Introducing the costumes from Dior Homme’s Spring 2027 collection held on June 24th. The “Happy” artist wears blue jeans, red Louis Vuitton leather sneakers, a gray zip-up hoodie, and a backwards Louis Vuitton monogram baseball cap. At the same time, Rashichan wore a navy blue button-up blouse tucked into high-waisted pants with pleats in the front and custom Adidas kicks.
