Queen Camilla revived another Fiona Claire Aldridge dress for her engagement at St Mungo’s Church in London on Wednesday.

The Queen Consort wore a navy dress by a British designer with a feather print. An array of feathers adds a pop of color to the dress, while muted earth tones like soft browns and golds are featured throughout.

The Fiona Claire midi frock is designed in Queen Camilla’s signature silhouette, with long sleeves, a below-the-knee hemline and a slightly plunging neckline. As for accessories, Queen Camilla wore her favorite Van Cleef & Arpels bracelet.

Queen Camilla has been rocking a monochrome scene lately, from Peter Phillips’ wedding to the Chelsea Pensioner’s Founder’s Day celebrations, but patterned dresses have never been far from the Queen’s wheelhouse.

Most recently, Queen Camilla wore a peacock-print dress from the royal wardrobe, a dress she has worn in the past, when she spent time with children from the Dreams and Wishes group at Clarence House on June 3.

But this special feather dress has been in Queen Camilla’s rotation for years. A few years ago, during the height of the global coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, the royal was spotted wearing a Wednesday dress while continuing her royal duties.

Fiona Claire Aldridge’s designs are often relied on by the Queen of England, who regularly turns to the couturier along with fellow British designer Anna Valentine for royal engagements.

During an outing in London on Wednesday, Queen Camilla met with residents and staff involved in supporting the Queen’s Reading Room’s communal reading programme. Founded in 1969, St Mungo’s Homeless Charity has been supporting people rebuilding their lives at Olympia Exhibition Center for the past 56 years.
