The Oscar-nominated “Chicago” actress and recording star wore a look from the designer’s Fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection. Over a sophisticated black dress, the centerpiece of Latifah’s look was the billowing long-sleeve jacket she wore.
Crafted with bubbly qualities, toned elements, and stunning volumes, Karner’s designs blended drama and intricate detail. A textural quality covered the entire black fabric, perfectly accentuated by the sheer mass of the jacket.

Despite the volume, the pieces didn’t feel overwhelming. The cinched waist gave a real silhouette, and Latifah’s hands together gave the illusion of being larger and more unobtrusive.
While keeping the jacket at the center of her look, the “Girls Trip” star accessorized her outfit with gold dangly earrings. Her hair was braided and tied high on the top of her head. A pop of red lipstick added color to the actress and rapper’s overall look.

Volume is a key theme in some of Kerner’s recent designs, especially those that attract celebrities.
Jennifer Hudson, along with Queen Latifah, showed appreciation for the German fashion designer’s work at MusiCares’ Mariah Carey Tribute in January 2026, where the “Dreamgirls” Oscar winner wore a voluminous Spring 2025 blue dress with an exaggerated textured coat.
