Sales for conferences, exhibitions and events have skyrocketed to record highs at the Coventry Building Society Arena over the past year.
Sports and entertainment also hosted, with a multi-purpose venue with more than 20,000 square meters of flexible event space, surpassing record sales of last year’s meetings and events.
In 2024/25, more than £8.9 million was completed, and £3.2 million brought new business to the Coventry venue for the first time.
It hosts 451 events from April 2024 to April 2025, with a recurring business rate of 60% and welcomes back events including the National Painting and Decoration Show, Spatex 2025, Childcare & Education Expo, Executive Hire Show and more.
The venue also benefited from a strong period of celebration, with one private Christmas feature welcoming over 4,000 guests. The versatility of the arena is highlighted by hosting soccer equipment for 28,000 fans on the same day.
They are also investing in new facilities, including a new kitchen at Commonwealth Convention Center, a complete renovation of the on-site 121-bedroom Doubletree by the Hilton Hotel, and the introduction of new technology to enhance the delegate experience.

The venue has implemented a new integrated payment solution from Planet to provide faster service to visitors and grow sustainability delivery to event organizers through a new partnership with E.On.
Additionally, supported by the partnership between Coventry Food Bank and Coventry & Warwickshire Children’s Charities, we also introduced new social values and community programs that allow us to utilize events at the venue.
