Reese Witherspoon and Lexi Maintree star at Elle premiere Celeb Style

Reese Witherspoon and Lexi Maintree rocked Elle Woods-inspired looks at the Elle premiere in New York City on Tuesday night.

Witherspoon wore a custom Monse look that perfectly represented her “Legally Blonde” character. The Oscar-winning actress’ dress was composed of pink lace, with translucent fabric underneath botanical motifs throughout the delicate material. A fitted silhouette and cinched waist are juxtaposed with off-the-shoulder voluminous sleeves.

The actress also wore strappy Christian Louboutin sandal heels and accessorized her look with Tiffany earrings. Hairstylist Rona Maria Visi styled Witherspoon’s hair into a straight side part. Makeup artist Tracy Levy utilized Beauty Pie products for the actress’ glowing look. Petra Flannery styled Witherspoon’s look.

While Witherspoon evoked a mature interpretation of Elle Woods, Lexi Maintree’s custom Betsey Johnson dress was totally princess-oriented. The strapless gown is made with a fitted bodice, sweetheart neckline, drop waist with bows at the hips, and a flowing, voluminous ballgown skirt.

Crafted in gorgeous pink tones, the dress also featured jeweled elements near the neckline and on the bust of the dress. As for accessories, Mine Tree sparkled with diamond necklaces, rings, and earrings, courtesy of Bulgari.

Minetree’s hair continued stylist Florencia Anahi’s princess motif of cascading curls with a half-pulled back, half-down style and wisps of hair that framed her face. Makeup artist Jennifer Powell provided a gentle element to Minetree’s look that brings a youthful glow.

Witherspoon and Minnetree’s respective looks at Tuesday night’s Elle premiere encapsulated the Elle Woods actress’ approach to both characters. While Witherspoon’s outfits were a sophisticated take on the bright pink wardrobe worn by Elle in the 2001 film Legally Blonde, Minnetree’s new approach to the role brought a youthful vigor and playful energy.

“Elle” is a prequel series to “Legally Blonde,” which depicts the formative high school years of the title character, played by Maintree. The series will debut on Prime Video on July 1st.
