Russian provincial press outlets Tass and Ria Novosti report that Russian troops destroyed 93 Ukrainian drones overnight, most of which were destroyed in the Kursk region. The Ukrainian Air Force said it had fired 41 of 74 Russian drones fired overnight towards Ukraine. According to the Air Force, another 20 drones were unable to reach the target due to electronic jamming measures. Ukrainian President Voldy Milzelensky said nearly 4,000 people were left without electricity after a Russian drone crashed into a substation in the Smie region of northeastern Ukraine, and artillery damaged the power lines in the central Dnipolopetrovsk region. Moscow’s Defense Ministry accused Kiev of attacking Russian energy facilities twice in the last 24 hours despite a mutual moratorium on US-mediated energy strikes. A press agency for Germany’s Press Agent (DPA) reported that Russia used air bombs to destroy one of its own dams in the Belgorod border area. No reason was given to destroy the dam.
