As Israeli attacks on Gaza continue, Palestinians mark prisoner day, with thousands still in prison.
Thousands of Palestinians, including children, remain in Israel’s prisons, many are acquitted as Israeli prisons continue to attack Gaza and military raids on the occupied West Bank. It’s not a new phenomenon, with over 800,000 Palestinians being detained by Israel since the occupation began in 1967. On the 51st Palestinian Prisoner Day, we tell the former prisoner about his experience.
