Putting a new spin on their wedding day unison, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey chose styles from Christian Dior haute couture for their wedding at Madison Square Garden on Friday.
In doing so, the 14-time Grammy Award winner achieved a major coup. Swift is the first celebrity to wear a couture wedding dress by the house’s coveted creative director of women’s, men’s and haute couture, according to a press release from Swift’s publicist Tree Payne.
The NFL player and founder of ‘The Tortured Poets Division’ is said to have worked closely with Anderson, a leading designer on the global fashion scene. Swift and Kelsea also wore custom Christian Louboutin shoes. The 36-year-old bride continued her star status with Cartier jewelry.
After Swift and Kelsey officially tied the knot, an LED screen outside Madison Square Garden flashed “JUST&T Wedding!” Instead of having a traditional bridal party with bridesmaids and groomsmen, Swift named her brother Austin as head of the wedding, and Kelce asked her brother Jason to be her bridal party. The black-tie event drew a well-dressed crowd including Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Dakota Johnson, Camila Cabello, Erin Andrews, Hugh Grant and Bradley Cooper. Kloss stole a bit of a scene in a strapless liquid gold-colored Tove dress, and Cabello also wore a billowing red lace dress. Comedian Adam Sandler officiated the wedding.

The two-day celebration kicked off Thursday night with a rehearsal dinner at Madison Square Garden, where attendees including Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Jack Antonoff and her sister Rachel were photographed on the move. Gomez upped the glam factor with a strapless black lace dress, Jimmy Choo shoes, and Fernando Jorge jewelry. Another style setter, Suki Waterhouse, wore a black multicolor embroidered midi dress by Carolina Herrera creative director Wes Gordon. This striking look is from the designer company’s Pre-Fall collection.
Anderson also has great chemistry with celebrity clients, having worked with Zendaya, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus, and other top talent. Last year, Anderson was named WWD’s Newsmaker of the Year, and for good reason. He ended his 11-year tenure at Loewe on a high note. Dior’s first men’s and women’s ready-to-wear show. He’s unveiled a new look, approach and retail concept for his beloved JW Anderson brand, and it’s already making waves. Organized several art exhibitions. Moncler has announced its latest collaboration with Uniqlo, completing its third costume design assignment with film director Luca Guadagnino. The title of the next photo is “Artificial.”

Creative director of Dior’s women’s, men’s and haute couture collections, he is Dior’s eighth couturier and the first designer to lead the company’s couture, women’s and men’s divisions. Born in Northern Ireland in 1984, Anderson studied menswear at the London College of Fashion, graduating in 2005 before working in visual merchandising at Prada under Manuela Pavesi. He consulted for several brands before debuting JW Anderson in London in 2008, where his provocative and androgynous designs, such as ruffled Bermuda shorts and men’s bandeau tops, attracted attention.
Swift and Kelce’s day-to-day expansion plans for their wedding have been international news all week. Traffic and pedestrian traffic has also been disrupted in and around Madison Square Garden, where dozens of New York City police officers have been stationed this week. Perhaps following in the footsteps of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez, who donated 3 million euros to charities in Venice before getting married in Venice last summer, Swift and Kelsey have donated $26 million to more than 20 charities. Swift is able to hold her own when it comes to entrepreneurship, building an estimated $2 billion empire.
