The Grammy-winning singer wore a strapless gown from the French luxury fashion house, which has had Burton’s creative direction since joining Givenchy in September 2024. The dress is made from black fabric and features a scooped round neckline and a body-hugging bodice.
At the hips of the dress, the fabric draped asymmetrically and the skirt, with a thigh-high slit, cascaded onto the red carpet to form a short train. Bouquets of flowers spilled throughout the fabric in rich reds, pinks, blues, and creams.

The floral print closely resembles the same motif on the Givenchy dress that Cate Blanchett wore to the Cannes Film Festival in May. The actress’s dress is from Givenchy’s fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection.
As for accessories, Swift wore 18K yellow gold imperial citrine diamond drop earrings by Mindy Mond and a diamond button back bracelet by Jessica McCormack. She also added a ring by Amrapali Jewels. Givenchy heels completed Swift’s outfit.

When it comes to glam, Swift had hairstylist Gemma Mouradian frame her face with a low bun and fringe. Makeup included lined eyes with a winged finish and Swift’s signature red lip by Rory Turk. The “Opalite” singer’s look was overseen by stylist Joseph Cassel Falconer.
Since becoming Givenchy’s creative director, Sarah Burton’s designs have been endorsed by Swift, Blanchett, Cynthia Erivo and Jodie Comer, who recently wore a black lace design to the New York premiere of The Death of Robin Hood on Wednesday night.

Throughout his tenure, Burtons emphasized the relationship between his designs and the women they clothed. “So when they put the jacket on, you know if they feel great about the suit. It’s very often a very emotional process with the models and in the room,” Burton said of her process in a conversation with WWD’s Miles Socha in November 2025.
“I want them to feel like Givenchy, but I also want them to feel like themselves and not be overwhelmed by the clothes. It’s like a conversation between two people.”
Taylor Swift will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2026, along with Alanis Morissette and Kenny Loggins. The event was held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City and featured performances by Sombre and others.
