This year’s TechCrunch Disrupt showcased the incredible talent and groundbreaking ideas of 2025’s Battlefield 200 startups.
From thousands of applications, we selected the 200 most promising startups that are bringing unique innovation to their respective industries. The competition culminated in an impactful event where these startups had the opportunity to pitch and demonstrate their solutions live over three days.
TechCrunch editorial staff selected the top five companies from among the top 20 finalists to compete fiercely for the coveted Disrupt Cup and a $100,000 non-stock prize. The deserved winner was Greedo, and a strong runner-up was Nephrogen.
Inside the Startup Battlefield 200, many industry-defining companies were on display and pitching on the Showcase Stage. Things to note are:

Best Booth — Tie!
Billight brought in one of their light-up pool game systems and fixed it to a pop-up banner. They’re building “Top Golf” for pool, but they didn’t have a demo pool table and did what any good founder would do: improvise. This is an innovative use of space and was a big hit at Expo Hall.

Calificadas brought energy, color, and creativity from Argentina to their booth setup. They demonstrated their AI-powered Communication Intelligence Coach in an interactive way and encouraged attendees to use the platform live at their booth. They were the subject of a fight, and rightly so.
Spirit of Disruption Award
The Spirit of Disruption award goes to Manu Seve, co-founder and CEO of Sponstar. She worked harder than ever to create exposure, connections, and opportunities for other founders through a scavenger hunt she organized over the weeks leading up to the event. Using her platform, the hunt involved 33 participating companies, generated 200 leads across 15 side events, visited over 700 locations (approximately 4 locations per user), and won 50 prizes from 8 different startups.
Startup Battlefield is more than just a pitch competition. It’s an opportunity to build relationships with investors, potential customers, and fellow founders and support each other on your entrepreneurial journey.
We congratulate this year’s winners and look forward to seeing how they shape the industry and drive innovation in the months and years to come. Congratulations to all Startup Battlefield 200 participants! Also, a special thank you to all the judges and sponsors who helped make TechCrunch Disrupt 2025 a huge success.
