WASHINGTON (AP) – President Donald Trump’s administration cuts another $450 million in grants to Harvard University the day after Ivy League schools I was pushed back It opposes the government’s claim that it is a hotbed of liberalism and anti-Semitism.

The letter stated that Harvard faced a “sudden, difficult battle” to restore its legacy as a “signal of virtue and a breeding ground for discrimination” and a place of academic excellence.
“There is a dark issue on Harvard campus, and by prioritizing settlements against accountability, institutional leaders have confiscated the school’s claims for taxpayer support,” the letter states.
It was signed by officials from the Department of Education, the Department of Health and Human Services, and the Department of General Services.

University officials did not immediately provide comment on the letter.
