Photo Editing and Sharing App VSCO is making iOS camera apps, captures and captures available worldwide following its limited launch in June, where apps can only be downloaded in Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.

VSCO also said it is acquiring freelance photographers, offering a combination of online and offline workshops to study photography and video shooting.

“For emerging photography professionals looking to ensure sustainable client relationships, there is a clear gap between the market for business education and industry-specific guidance. Freelance photographers need to provide comprehensive education, supportive community, tools and insights to transform craft into careers, as creative long-term career partners.

Capture, the first new app in over a decade at VSCO, focuses on taking photos with the aesthetics of the set. The app has over 50 presets for images, along with some real-time effects. You can manually control camera functions such as shutter speed and exposure to take photos in RAW and PROAW formats. The app allows users to sync all their photos with VSCO’s cloud.

Freelance photographers offer a range of courses starting at $208 a month on a basic coaching plan, plus $625 a month that gives you access to over 50 tools, several courses, and personal mentoring from company founder Paul Weaver.

The acquisition fits well with VSCO’s purpose of providing more to professional photographers. Last year, the company launched a VSCO hub, allowing brands to discover photographers for various projects, and using the VSCO site to create web pages to showcase their work. In May, the company launched VSCO Canvas. VSCOCanvas is a collaboration whiteboard product that allows you to create mood boards for a variety of projects.
