Federal Judge Rules The US government is contrary to previous ruling that it suspended the president’s cleaning order to freeze federal spending.

A federal judge ruled that President Donald Trump’s administration had not fully complied with an order that would halt the freeze on federal spending that had plunged the government into chaos.

The court sought US District Judge Judge John McConnell be restored on Monday to consider whether the spending freeze is constitutional.

Even after McConnell suspended the Trump administration’s freeze on January 31, the state continued to report access to federal funds.

“These suspensions in funding are [temporary restraining order]McConnell wrote. “The broad, categorical and drastic freeze in federal funding, as the courts have found, is probably unconstitutional and continues to cause irreparable harm to a vast portion of the country.”

The funding freeze is part of an effort by Trump and his right-wing allies to cut down what they consider unnecessary federal spending.

However, 22 groups, primarily democratically-led groups and the District of Columbia, are sought to stop the move by claiming that Trump has surpassed constitutional authority by determining what powers he holds. I sued.

“The president cannot unilaterally halt Congressional spending commitments,” New York Attorney General Letitia James said in a news release after the temporary restraining order was granted.

But last week, the state told the McConnell court in Rhode Island that the Trump administration continues to withhold federal funds.

This includes approximately $4.5 billion for household electrified rebate funds, $7 billion for rooftop solar panels, $5 billion for greenhouse gas reduction efforts, and $117 million for air quality monitoring. .

Meanwhile, Trump administration lawyers argued that McConnell’s restraint orders do not apply to certain programs that include funding for healthcare and climate change initiatives passed under former President Joe Biden.

They also argued that McConnell’s orders targeted a Trump administration memo that was subsequently retracted.

However, on Monday, McConnell confirmed that his orders were “clear and clear” to that extent.

He also warned the Trump administration against further attempts to overturn the court’s will.

“People who make private decisions of the law and refuse to follow an order will refuse to risk criminal cont crimes, even if the order is ultimately determined to be incorrect,” McConnell wrote It’s there.

The ruling added that the temporary restraint order will also affect billions of dollars in funding for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), announced by the White House on Friday.

McConnell suspended Trump’s federal funding freeze after U.S. District Judge Lauren Alican issued a similar ruling on Jan. 28 at the request of nonprofits and advocacy groups like Democracy. He was the second federal judge.

Since taking office on January 20th, his advisors like Trump and billionaire tech monarch Elon Musk have reduced spending and spitting hollows on government agencies that have been targets of conservative rage. I was about to leave it.

This includes an offer of acquisitions to encourage government officials to quit their jobs.

The administration also ordered the suspension of almost all US funds for foreign aid and moved to dismantle the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
