Meta -owned platform officials have detected a paragon attempt to hack a user account.

A popular meta -popular WhatsApp chat service states that Israeli spyware company, Paragon Solutions, targeted 90 users, including journalists and civil society.

Officials told the Reuters News Agency on Friday that WhatsApp sent a letter to the paragon to the paragon following the hack.

The company’s website advertises “ethical tools, teams, and insights to confuse threats that are difficult to handle.”

Natalia Krapiva, an advanced technology leaguer of Advocacy Group Access Now, has said that Paragon has a reputation for being a more responsible spyware company.

“This is not a problem of some bad apple -these types of abuse [are] Characteristics of the commercial spyware industry, “she told Reuters.

Reuters said that AE did not immediately return a comment.
