Lumon Terminal Pro – the computer used in Apple TV’s hit series “Severance” – has appeared on Apple’s retail website. When you shop at Apple.com, you will see a new device decorated with the red “New” label. Click to view available Mac Computers for Apple to sell from top-level navigation.
But sorry, “Retirement” Fan: Lumon terminal computers are not actually on sale.
Instead, the arrival on retail websites will act as an advertisement for Apple TV+, Apple’s streaming service. This is available as a 3-month free trial when purchasing a Mac computer. Streaming offers are part of Apple’s growth services business, increasing 4% to $26.34 billion in the most recent quarter, pushing Apple’s gross profit margin to its highest record.
Given the appeal of pop culture, the Cupertino-based tech giant is currently “retiring” from “Severance” on Apple’s most-watched television series, including many official tie-ins, including free e-books from Apple Books, a “retirement” podcast with Ben Stiller, and a number of official tie-ins including free e-books for Lumon Andustries (Fishup Company in the Show-shemed for fore-for-free with).
On Wednesday, the company showed Geoffrey Richman, one of the show’s editors, how to tackle the series in a location, at home and on the go using IMAC, Mac Mini and MacBook Pro.
Alongside the Lumon Terminal Pro list, there are links to short films that offer a behind-the-scenes look at his editing process.
