Few people style couples better than Zendaya and Tom Holland during their promotional tour for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. During the press trip to Europe, the two actors and their wives wore retro items and tailored suits.
Zendaya was styled by longtime collaborator Law Roach, who dressed her in everything from $35 vintage Marvel Spider-Man graphic tees to Louis Vuitton’s latest Cruise collection. WWD analyzes the couple’s future press tour style.

At Thursday night’s photocall for the film in London, Zendaya continued her retro-method look in a selection from John Galliano’s Spring 1997 collection. The fitted dress, with a high-low, airy hemline, featured a constellation-inspired pattern with a spider web motif at the back. The actress accessorized her look with Tiffany jewelry.
In contrast, Holland kept her outfit a little more relaxed. The actor wore gray pants, a light-toned jacket and a burgundy-toned shirt.

At Tuesday’s Rome premiere, Zendaya brought back Giorgio Almai’s spring 1990 sleeveless dress. The maxi dress featured taupe tones with sheer black overlays and a crystallized spider web motif, continuing the method dressing of her press tour wardrobe. Two small jeweled insects were added to the dress, one at the neckline and one at the hips.
Zendaya’s “Spider-Man” co-star opted for a crisp white dress shirt and maroon coordinating suit.

The vintage style trend continued with Roman Zendaya, who wore a Versace design in fall 1997. Coordinating cropped tops and miniskirts are cast in Spider-Man-inspired red and blue. She added Christian Louboutin’s signature white So Kate pumps and accessorized with A. Jaffe earrings.
Holland, who favors a tailored yet casual look, wore a pants and jacket set paired with a white cotton T-shirt.

On June 17, Zendaya gave a nod to her ambassadorship with Louis Vuitton, wearing selections from the French luxury fashion house’s Cruise 2027 collection. The look featured red high-waisted shorts with a structured black jacket and embroidered details. The actress accessorized with Tiffany earrings.
Holland meant business with a suit look cast in dark tones, featuring a jacket with square statement pockets. He added a collared white dress shirt and a striped tie to complete the outfit.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is the latest chapter in the Marvel Comics film series, following the story of Holland’s Spider-Man, Peter Parker, who must fight off a new villain in a forgotten world. The film will be released in theaters on July 31st.
