British and international lawyers filed war crime complaints against 10 British people who fought against Israeli forces in Gaza.

Documents for the ten British citizens accused of war crimes when they fought for Israel in the besieged and bombed Gaza Strip, were filed with London metropolitan police by a leading human rights lawyer.

The 240-page report compiled by Michael Mansfield of the Hague and other lawyers was submitted on Monday on behalf of the Palestinian Human Rights Centre (PCHR) and the UK-based Centre for Public Interest Law (PILC).

They are accused of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity, including eradication, evacuation and murder.

“I couldn’t stand what I saw: the bodies are scattered next to each other,” said the witness who was killed in the Israeli attack in testimony collected by PCHR.

Several media outlets say the report has not been made public, but they are calling for an urgent investigation into allegations involving targeted killings of civilians and aid workers.

10 people reportedly have been specifically identified, providing fully studied and robust evidence of their involvement in these serious crimes, with 10 people not specifically identified, some of whom retain Israeli citizenship.

Jonahal of Al Jazeera, reporting from Scotland Yard in London, said the report was not published for legal reasons.

The report denounces suspects of “coordinated attacks on protected sites, including historical monuments and religious sites, as well as forced relocation and movement of civilians,” according to the newspaper The Guardian.

The UK news outlet cited attorney Sean Summerfield, who is said to be said to be based on open source evidence and witness testimony.

Mansfield told reporters outside the police building.

Mansfield spoke to US news site Zeteo and said the allegations also include “mass murder, mass destruction and mass displacement.”

The report states that the UK is responsible for investigating and prosecuting people who committed international crimes under international law.

When asked whether the British government should ban British citizens from serving Israeli forces, Mansfield said:

Mansfield further spoke about the lack of government action, saying many countries around the world “do nothing” and instead support the Israeli government.

“I think this is another reason why the Palestinian Human Rights Centre and the Public Interest Centre decided that they had urged the government,” Mansfield said.

Israel renewed its attack on Gaza on March 18, ending a short-lived ceasefire with Hamas, which led to its armed capture of the territory, killing more than 1,300 people, according to the Enclave’s Ministry of Health.

More than 50,000 Palestinians have been killed since the war began on October 7, 2023. Most of them are women and children.
