On 23rd of 14, Vaibhav Suryavanshi immediately influenced Rajasthan by scoring 34 runs, including three Sixes against Lucknow.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi entered the Indian Premier League (IPL) spotlight as the youngest debutant, and the 14-year-old announced in epic style with six large balls from the first ball he faced.

The Rajasthan Royals left-hander came to the team on Saturday for a clash with the Lucknow Supergiants in place of Sanju Samson’s big tain, and was a shock replacement during the 181 pursuit.

“My words, what the hell was that?” Australian Shane Watson said during the air.

“One of the most difficult shots in cricket is gaining power on the cover from the front shoes. The power to burn from the age of 14. A way to present yourself to the world.”

Suriyavansi, who idolized West Indian great Brian Lara, was fired after forging the opening stand for 85 runs at Yashasvi Jaiswal, hitting two more sixes in his stunning 20 balls, 34 run innings, but his team lost the match in two runs.

“It was important to give him the opportunity. He hit well in the net, he was well prepared,” Rajasthan spin bowling coach Sairaj Bahru told reporters.

“Obviously we missed Sanju, but it created an opportunity for Vaibahu and he made the most of it. He hit beautifully.

“He’s a great kid with a really good head on his shoulder. He has almost a 360-degree game. He’s brave and you saw his approach. He’s dominated and wants to play his shots.

Suryavanshi grabbed the headline in November when he surpassed the Delhi Capitals in the lucrative Twenty20 league at age 13 and signed for Indian rupee of 11 million ($128,750) before becoming the youngest player.

The youngster made his debut last year in the 12-year-old domestic Ranji Trophy Red Ball competition, winning 58 Boultons and played for India’s under-19 side against Australia.

After he made a triple century with a local tournament in his hometown of Bihar, there have been tweets about his immeasurable talent, and fans hope he can continue to shine for his IPL team.
