Floki has partnered with Rice Robotics to launch the Floki Minibot M1, an AI-powered companion robot that combines robotics, blockchain and tokenized rewards.
The Floki Minibot M1, announced ahead of the Token2049 Dubai, is powered by Rice AI, Rice Robotics’ distributed AI protocol. This small but capable robot can handle everyday tasks to suit your personality and preferences over time, including managing your grocery list, scheduling your chores, providing bedtime stories, and dancing to your favorite music.
But innovation doesn’t stop with hardware. As part of the rollout, Rice Robotics will also be launching $Rice Token, the leading utility token for the Rice AI protocol. Tokens integrate real-world usage with on-chain incentives. Floki Minibot M1 users earn $Rice tokens through interaction. It will turn normal conversations and commands into valuable AI training data, rewarding users with participation in the ecosystem.
According to Rice, the $rice token will be released via Token Fee Launchpad, allowing $tokenstakers to participate in early sales. Additionally, airdrops have come in both $floki and $token holders, adding to the increase in utility behind the Floki ecosystem. The $rice token offers a variety of features within the Rice AI ecosystem, including access to premium features, AI upgrades, and data exchange within a distributed physical AI network.
Known for working with top-notch clients like Nvidia, Softbank, Mitsui Fudosan, and Severeven Japan, Rice Robotics is not accustomed to real-life developments. Their robots are already used in offices, shopping centres and urban infrastructure in Japan, Dubai and Hong Kong.
In particular, SoftBank is also a key player behind President Trump’s $500 billion Stargate initiative aimed at building AI infrastructure into US Rice’s involvement.
This collaboration marks the next big chapter in Decentralized Physics AI (DEPAI), a concept that allows robots to learn, share data, and self-upgrade using blockchain-backed protocols.
