30 Euston Square announced his promotion to executive chef at Edilbert de Souza, marking a new chapter for the venue’s cooking team.

With over 21 years of experience, De Souza joined 30 Euston Square as head chef in 2023, bringing a rich international background in fine dining, including spending time with famous chefs such as Jack Pepin, including 15 years of interaction on top cruise lines.

His expertise spans French and Italian cuisine, as well as high-end international kitchens, and is no stranger to providing exceptional experiences in an exclusive hospitality environment.

In his new role, De Souza will lead the kitchen team with a focus on seasonality, sustainability and innovation.

De Souza said: “I’m passionate about creating menus celebrating the best UK produce, inspired by the global flavors and techniques I’ve developed throughout my career. I look forward to leading a talented team and creating an unforgettable dining experience.”

30 CJ Alves, Head of Sales, Events and Marketing at Euston Square, added: “With his international experience and commitment to quality, he is confident that he will enhance our culinary offerings and continue to provide excellent experiences to our clients and guests.”
