The United Nations and aid agencies have criticised the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation after a chaotic, deadly delivery.
Gaza has been completely locked down by Israel for almost three months.
Aid agencies have stopped providing the most basic supplies, with 2.3 million people starving.
Currently, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation offers food packages, but is supported by Israel and the United States. That first attempt turned into chaos.
The foundation has also faced strong criticism from the United Nations and other aid agencies. They say it appears to be a “weaponization” aid, not following humanitarian principles.
So why did Israel decide to receive some kind of assistance, but only under the institutions it supports?
