Strategic Experience Marketing Agency George P. Johnson has announced a series of major leadership appointments across the EMEA region and around the world.
These changes reflect GPJ’s commitment to deliver a consistent, innovative brand experience to some of the world’s most influential organizations.
Oliver Emke will take on the role of Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa based in Dubai.
Ehmke has brought over seven years of leadership as head of GPJ Germany, helping to launch the institutional presence in the Middle East.
His stewardship in the DP World account, now a Cornerstone Global client, helped establish MEA as GPJ’s fastest growing region. In his new role, Ehmke will continue to support global clients and work with Project to promote regional growth for GPJ.
Jonathan McCallum will move to the position of managing director in Europe and expand his leadership success as managing director and former Strategy Director in the UK. McCallum’s appointment reflects his reputation as a strategic partner for both clients and teams across the region, and will now oversee GPJ operations across the continent.
In Germany, Jens Arnegger was appointed country manager in Germany, bringing 17 years of GPJ experience across marketing, client services and business development.
Known for his strong leadership, creativity and deep client relationships, Arnegger reports to McCallum and works closely with Ehmke during the transition.
These announcements mark a new chapter in the agency’s global growth strategy following Fiona Bruder’s recent promotion to GPJ’s global CEO. Bruder’s appointment reflects GPJ’s strategic alignment, client service excellence and continued investment in integrated global leadership.
Bruder replaces Chris Meyer, who took the helm as CEO of Project Worldwide, the parent company of GPJ.
Bruder said: “These leadership changes continue to focus on unlocking growth, sharing best practices globally, and providing consistent, groundbreaking work to our clients.”
She added: “With these exceptional leaders in place, we are further aware of our ambitions to deepen our regional and sectoral impacts and be the most strategic and creative institution of experience in the world.”
