Defending champion Real Madrid Face City City rival Atletico will be playing PSG in the 16-year-old Champions League last year.
The Champions League passed a more heavyweight clash when a 16-round draw was made in Nayon, Switzerland.
The reward for deleting defending champion Real Madrid’s 2023 title winner Manchester City on Wednesday is two City derbys against Atletico Madrid, who won the 2014 and 2016 finals.
Bayern Munich paired with Bundesliga leader Bayer Leberkusen against the defending champion who played a tight 0-0 draw last weekend.
Liverpool were the top seeded team in the draw after finishing first in 36 team standings last month, but still had a tough mission as the Premier League leader paired with 15 seed PSG in a draw on Friday.

Liverpool and PSG have never met in the Champions League or in the old European Cup knockout games. Their previous meeting took place in the group stage in 2018-19, with Trading Home winning the season when Liverpool won their sixth European Cup title.
The first foot game will take place from March 4th to 5th, with a return game being played a week later.
Also, in the draw, the second seed Barcelona paired with Benfica. Benfica beat 5-4 in Lisbon a month ago, but Arsenal faces PSV Eindhoven, with Inter Milan playing Faynod.
Club Bruges, who entered the knockout stage on the 24th and at the final qualifying spot, will face Aston Villa, who had already hit a beat in November. Borussia Dortmund plays Lille.
Madrid-German matchups were not possible in the old Champions League format, where teams in the same country didn’t face each other in 16 rounds. They play each other in the league stage of the competition.
The team also learned the fate of the quarterfinals and semifinals if they advance as the winners of Liverpool and PSG Thailand face the winners between Villa and Bruges. The winner of the Madrid Derby will face either PSV Eindhoven or Arsenal.
