Blog by Simona Negretto, head of UK and Ireland conferences and events at Vue Entertainment.
There is no doubt that companies are working hard to achieve their goals. So, if it counts in training, workshops, or sales meetings to inspire your team, the venue really needs to provide.
Traditional conference centers do exactly what they say with tin. It was built, tried and tested for purposes. You know what you get. But is that enough to motivate and inspire your representative?
What happens when you think outside the box? You learn when you do something different. So this is the best time to do so when staff learning and development is key to outstanding results.
Recently, Big Table Group, which operates some of the country’s most well-known restaurant brands, has surprised employees by booking Manchester’s recently renovated Vue Printworks for the annual update of its leisure division. .
Executive assistant Jokerby said: However, we wanted to be in Manchester, so Vue Printworks offered something unique to our team. Plus, it’s in a great location for two restaurants, Frankie & Benny and Chiquito. We were on the plunge after the senior staff were relieved to have the ability to speak to the event team and provide the event. ”
The event consisted of senior leaders who provided business updates to all general managers across the UK. It also thanked everyone who was awarded the performance accolades and awards at the end.
Kirby was pleased with the outcome. She continued. It made everything so impressive, bigger and more spectacular than life. It was so good, my boss suggested that we immediately had a drink to the bar before we went to one of our restaurants. The event team was happy to accommodate us and gave us our own area on one end of the bar. ”
Kelby said, “We didn’t put the film’s setting and meeting together. In my opinion, it doesn’t look like a natural fit, but in reality it works very well. The cinema is perfect. It was a size space and the equipment was perfect. The table on the reclining seat was useful and was happy to use by the representative to take notes. The event team was professional and fed to voluntary drink requests. It was pretty obvious. I have already recommended it to other brands in the group. We will definitely be back!”
Another client, Mitchells & Butlers, is one of the largest operators in the country for restaurants, bars and pubs. They take care of brands such as Bar One, Brown’s, and Miller & Carter Steakhouse. Their business is familiar with using the Vue venue, with last year’s third return and this year it is already in the planning stage.
Using the roadshow format, the senior leadership team was able to reach business managers and deliver prioritization messages directly, running multiple brands and locations. These sessions are important. This is to ensure that leaders are directly involved with frontline management teams, talk directly, share key messaging, and make sure everyone is able to clarify business performance and priorities.
Debbie Tims, Pennsylvania, told CEO Philip Urban: “We use locations in the same city in five regions: Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh, London and Bristol, and are working very well for our business. The screens and sound of the films are the ones that enhance important presentations. It really helped us, and our representatives softened the film experience that was comfortable yet relaxed in a professional environment and equipped with those messages. It’s a hit – offered in their seats Even popcorn.”
Mitchells & Butlers uses multiple venues, so we also take advantage of discounts at multiple venues. Vue has a variety of screen room sizes, serving 24 people in 93 locations in the UK and Ireland, serving 531 people.
Flexibility is available in location and time, with a variety of external catering options available for breakfast or lunch. Plus, with tables built into new reclining seats, cinemas are steadily stealing marches by offering fantastic meetings, training and workshops, giving organizers a game-changing factor.
