Barcelona will face Real Madrid in the El Clasico Finals at Spain’s Copa del Rey after an Atletico’s 5-4 total defeat.
Barcelona won 1-0 at Atletico Madrid, reaching their first Copa del Rey Final in four seasons, establishing the “Clasico” against Real Madrid.
Ferran Torres won the first half on Wednesday for the Catalan club. The club went 5-4, 5-4 after a 4-4 draw in the first leg at Barcelona in February.
Madrid eliminated Real Sociedad in the extra time on Tuesday, moving on to 5-4 in total. The rival will be the first COPA decider since the 2013-14 season when Madrid won the title.

It was another disappointing home elimination for Atletico after being fined by Madrid in the 16th round of the Champions League last month.
Barcelona, Copa’s most successful club with 31 trophies, has not made it to the final since beating Athletic Bilbao in 2021.
Madrid won their second final in three seasons and their 20th title against Osasuna in 2023.
The final on April 26th in Seville will mark the third Classico of the season.
Barcelona won 4-0 in the Spanish league in October and 5-2 in the Spanish Super Cup final in January. Rivals will also be able to meet in the Champions League this season.

Atletico was looking to advance to the Copa finals for the first time since beating Madrid in 2013 to win the 10th title.
Diego Simeone’s team came together with two late goals to draw the first leg for Barcelona after wasting a 2-0 lead.
Torres scored on the 27th and gave a nice touch from within the area after a perfect through-ball by Ramin Yamal.
Atletico striker Alexander Sollos had no targets for offside on the 69th.
