Belfry Hotel & Resort in West Midlands has appointed Hospitality Action and the MND Association as the first ever charity partner for Belfry Classic Golf Day.
The event is scheduled to take place at Bell Free’s famous Bravazon Course and will be celebrated by hosting the Ryder Cup four times.
Proceeds from the event benefit two of the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association, which Belfry has partnered with since 2023, and Belfry’s charity partners.
Belfry also continues its long-standing commitment to hospitality action. It is an important charity supporting hospitality workers at risk.
Tanya Curry, CEO of the MND Association, said: “It will help raise vital funding that can improve the care and support we provide while investing in groundbreaking research, as well as raising awareness of the catastrophic conditions affecting more than 5,000 people in the UK.”
The invitation-only Belfry Classic Golf Day, which will be held on May 22nd, will be hosted by respected sports presenter, journalist and broadcaster Dan Walker.
Walker said: “Golf has a great community and there’s always a big appetite to come together on these days and raise money for some big things.”
The first Belfry Classic Golf Day promises a day featuring all-day barbecues, live entertainment, multiple drink receptions, gala dinners, live surprise lot auctions and after-party.
