event
The “All Hands In Irson” housing conference by software company Cronofy was held in November 2024 at Leeds Castle in Kent.
The company’s biennial event will provide the Cronofy team with the opportunity to meet in person to review business activities over the past six months and determine strategies for the next six months.
The “All Hands in Adens” event, held annually at another location, brings team members from all over the world for four days of insightful presentations, refresher training, workshops and socialising.
place
The Cronofy team was looking for a unique venue that contrasted with the previous location of the event. The all-in-one venue with accommodation, meeting rooms, catering and social activities on the site was also important. The uniqueness of Leeds Castle, the historic environment of the castle and the site, and the diverse meeting rooms and accommodations on the site are perfectly suited to the bill.

space
The Maiden Tower was one of the venues used for the event. Originally a Tudor Bakehouse, Maiden Tower is now a stylish venue that can accommodate up to 26 boardroom styles, 80 theatre styles, or 26 U-shaped styles.
The castle itself, with its elegant dining room, boardroom and reception room, was used as well as the 500 acres of picturesque seasonal parks and gardens.

A dedicated event team at Leeds Castle helped Chronofy by adjusting the layout of meetings and dinner rooms. This was a meeting cabaret style, with a round table and banquet table set for dinner. The Leeds Castle team assisted in arranging and distributing gift bags to team members upon arrival, and communicated regularly with Cronofy throughout the event.

Activities
The four-day event provided ample time for various social building activities within the Leeds Castle Estate, including falconry, archery, on-site walks, and games of mazes and adventure golf. Chronofy also took third parties to run a large corporate society with a series of physical challenges across the real estate.

Food and drink
Cronofy worked closely with the catering manager at Leeds Castle to design the menu. Many varieties were packed into dinner over four days, including bowl food, Mexican food and a three-course sit-in meal. Lunch was buffet style and breakfast was held at Castleview Restaurant. Dietary requirements were pre-finished.
