Some CHATGPT subscribers are reporting new features that appear in the drop-down list of available tools called “Study Together.”
This mode is clearly a chatbot method that will become a better educational tool. Rather than providing answers to the prompts, some say they need to ask more questions and answer people, like Openai’s answer to Google’s LearnLM. Others think that there is a mode in Study Group mode where multiple people can join the chat. Openai did not respond to requests for comment, but as to how valuable it is, ChatGpt said:
This feature is interesting. Because ChatGpt has quickly become a mainstay of education in a lesser-irrelevant way. Teachers use it for things like lesson plans. Students can use it like a private tutor. Alternatively, you can use it to write a paper. Some have suggested that ChatGpt could “kill” higher education. This may be a way to discourage “cheating” while encouraging good uses.
