Foxhills Club & Resort celebrated the women behind Surrey’s business on International Women’s Day (8th March) through various panel discussions.

The panel’s discussion focused on key topics that influenced women’s progression in the workplace, including culture, leadership and work/life balance.

Female and male team members from across Fox Hills Resort gathered at an event aimed at stimulating, educating and unleashing meaningful conversations about the unique challenges women face on their professional journeys.

The panel included Addison Lee’s Head of Marketing, Allison King, CIPD, Maryland’s Head of Marketing, Daniel Fletcher, founder of Made-to-order HR, and Alessandra Antonelli, founder of Santander’s Director of Transaction Banking and Liquidity.

Raelene Antao said:

In addition to promoting personal growth, the speakers reinforced the importance of trusting themselves and putting trust in themselves. Daniel Fletcher emphasized that “we see each other as experts who are not gender-based.”

Allison King reinforced the importance of mentorship and leadership, highlighting the importance of learning from each other. She said: “Become a role model – learn from interactions, and grow with inspiration from others.”

The celebrations featured participants with new tools to motivate and help them succeed in their careers.
