Hotel Indigories, which is set to open in the summer of 2025, has announced that Simon Grace will be the general manager to oversee the operation of the hotel.
With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Grace hone her skills at some of Yorkshire’s most prominent wedding venues, transitioning to fine dining, and ultimately took on leadership roles with major corporate brands.
His experience includes working with well-known companies such as Accor, and more recently, IHG’s Hotel Indigo brand for over seven years.
Speaking about his new role, Grace states: “Les, in particular, is a great city that is immersed in heritage and architecture, so it’s just a match made in heaven to provide the experience and story of the hotel’s neighbourhood.”
Salately, Chief Operating Officer of Country Wide Hotels, commented: “There are so many moving parts when it comes to successful operation of top-class hotels and adjacent bars and restaurants, and selecting the right person as a general manager is an important milestone for the new facility.
Kevar Schalau, director of Bellfont Hotels, the hotel owner, added: “Simon understands the vision I have for the hotel and aims to set the hotel’s indigories separate from the rest of the city.
