The world’s number one reached a settlement with the world’s doping organizations after two positive drug tests in 2024.

Jannik Sinner’s long doping saga ended after agreeing to a three-month ban from tennis.

The suspension from February 9th to May 4th means Thinner will be free to play at the French Open, the second grand slam of the season that begins May 25th at Roland Garros.

In a statement Saturday, Thinner said the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) admitted that it “has no intentional and did not derive a competitive advantage from two positive tests” of the banned substance.

The 2025 Australian Open Champion always said that Crossteborg entered his system when his physiotherapist used a spray containing a spray to treat the cut before offering massage and sports therapy. It’s there.

“The incident had been hanging from me for almost a year, but the process still had a long time to run on decisions only at the end of the year,” Sinner said.

“I have always accepted that I’m responsible for my team. I’ve realized that Wada’s strict rules are important protections for the sport I love. Based on that, I have accepted WADA’s offer to settle these cases under three months of sanctions.”

Wada said separately that “the sinner had no intention of cheating,” but that he would serve his halt as he was responsible for the actions of his aides.

Sports’ Global Doping Watchdog confirmed it has withdrawn its appeal to the Court of Arbitration of Sports (CAS), which is scheduled to hear the case in April.

The agreement between Sinner and Wada also means that Sinner can play in front of the home fans of the Rome Open. The Roma Open kicked off shortly after his suspension was over, and was the last big clay court tournament before Roland Garros.

Saturday’s announcement brings him to an end to the controversy that continues to sinners everywhere, in order to become a top male tennis player and a winner of multiple grand slams.

The 23-year-old faces a potential ban after WADA sued CAS for his initial exoneration, announced in August. Ta.
