RAILY, N.C. (AP) — North Carolina Senate Republicans chose a new majority leader on Tuesday to promote the veteran lawmakers who won a veteran lawmaker.

Lee, a lawyer, was first appointed to the Senate in 2014 to fill the vacant seats. He lost his seat for former Wilmington mayor Harper Peterson in the 2018 election, but only to frame Peterson two years later to regain it. Lee started working as one of them.
