Last week, Los Angeles High School, which was damaged by the Parisade Fire, called for a place for the staff to hold classes and exercise habits while the community was recovering.

According to Cal Fire, the single fire burned 23,713 acres along the Pacific coast of California, destroying more than 1,000 buildings on Monday afternoon. Pamelamaggie, the principal of the Paris Destiator High School, wrote in a letter to the community that these structures contained about 40 % of school facilities.

“As you know, the school is in the center of the fire zone, and there are catastrophic damage in all aspects,” Maggie stated in a letter posted on the school’s Facebook page. “As of this week, there is no doubt that we have awakened to an unexpected unexpected reality.”

According to school websites, high schools offer services to nearly 3,000 students from over 110 ZIP code communities. Since the establishment of the campus in 1961, it has been introduced in Hollywood Productions, such as “carry”, “whimsical Friday”, and “teen wolf”. Celebrities such as Will.i.am, Steve Kerr, Forest Whitaker, Jennnifer Jason Leigh.

According to a school news release on Sunday fire, “the fire gave a big blow to the school community and drove away many families and students who lost their homes and belongings.” He pointed out the students’ “surprising resilience”, “amazing resilience”, and “staff commitments for continuing the education and emotional support they need.”

Sunday callouts include “spaces or campuses in a temporary classroom that can be used for leasing and donations”, “large indoor and outdoor space suitable for hosting students and teachers”, and “movement, setup,” He said he needed to access “volunteers to support coordination.

The officials of the Los Angeles Unified School District, the members of the charter school, and the regional LA councilors did not immediately respond to the USA TODAY inquiries about preparing the remaining charter in the grade.

The structure continues to burn in the Pacific Palisese district of Los Angeles County.

Head -to -face learning key for students

Principal Maggie advised the community that it was forbidden to enter the campus for dangerous conditions.

Maggie said in her letter, the start of the semester until January 21. The school plans to provide online guidance when the class resumes, but she wants to return to face -to -face guidance immediately.

“It is difficult to predict how long this recovery process takes, and we are doing as much as possible to promote a safe face -to -face learning experience,” Maggie in her letter. I wrote it.

The authorities said, “It is to maintain the unity of the community during this challenging period, and in the school release, students, teachers and friends can continue education with friends, teachers and friends.”

Her learning is important for social and emotional development, helping to prevent isolation, and that students may feel a recent trauma.
