Real Madrid secured a 1-0 victory at Real Sociedad in a Copa del Rey-Ray semi-first leg clash that was undermined by further racist abuse of Brazil’s international Vinicius Jr.
Brazilian forward Endric scored the only goal of the game in the first half at Lear Arena in San Sebastian in northern Spain.
However, there was a controversy just before halftime as “Asensio Dai” targets Real Madrid defender Raul Asensio.
The video then appeared on social media for Real Sociedad fans who appear to make a monkey gesture at Vinicius Junior while the game was stopped.

Fans have been hoping to chant at 22-year-old centre-back Asensio in various stadiums in recent weeks, but this was the first time the game has been suspended.
Asensio is said to be under investigation by a Spanish court, sharing sexually explicit videos of minors recorded by two former Real Madrid youths.
The match stopped just before halftime after Vinicius reported to the judge a chant against the judge against Asencio.
“Vinicius spoke to the judge, the judge stopped the game and he applied the protocol.
The coach replaced the defender at halftime for Lucas Vazquez. “I took him with me [Vinicius Jr]For two things, he was influenced and had a yellow card, so I preferred to take him off,” explained Ancelotti.
“I don’t think anyone likes the stadium to chant you’re dying. I think he was influenced in that sense. He wasn’t happy at all, so I preferred to take him off in case how he feels could affect the game.”
Real Sociedad Forward Mikel Oyarzabal added: I don’t think this is the right way to do it. ”

The image of racist abuse targeting Vinicius was quickly recirculated online, but as the match was delayed, Sociedad said on the big screen in the stadium, “Not in racist, xenophobic, intolerable chants. We encourage and support our team while respecting our rivals.”
Vinicius has long been the target of racist abuse in Spanish football. Four people were arrested in Spain in October and questioned against the 24-year-old for allegedly running an online hate campaign.
In June last year, three Valencia fans were each sentenced to eight months in prison for hate crimes against the forward. It was a groundbreaking case as they were their first belief in racist insults at Spanish football stadiums.
Spanish and European champions Madrid will entertain Sociedad in the second round at the San Teago Bernabeu Stadium on April 1st, giving him the right to meet either Barcelona or Atletico Madrid in the final.
Endrick’s 19th strike was enough to finish outside the boot after competing for Jude Bellingham’s diagonal ball and earn his first tie.
Madrid was without French superstar Kylian Mbappe after dental issues and Fede Valverde and Thibaut Courtois.
Ancelotti chose to spin his side further before his visit to face Real Betis at Lariga on Saturday – and 16 clashes with Atletico Madrid by making seven total changes from a 2-0 victory with Girona.

Madrid had a solid show despite his many alternatives, including the start of Alda Garrá, Fran Garcia and Eduardo Camabinga.
Endric sent the Ross Blancos first when Bellingham sent the 18-year-old attacker in goal.
After controlling one touch, his second endric stylishly stroked the house on a nearby post.
It was the sixth goal of his campaign, four of whom came to Copa del Rey. There, Ancelotti gave him the chance to shine the most.
Bellingham, who missed Madrid’s victory over the weekend in suspension, seemed refreshed and helped his team stay primarily at the top.

Vinicius approached with a low shot with Alex Remiro tilted safely. Madrid goalkeeper Andri Luin made a great double save early in the second half to keep Mikel Oyalzabal and Teikhusakbo in the bay.
Madrid came close for a moment on the other side as Endric crashed the shot against the bar from the edge of the box.
Remiro has pushed Bellingham’s biased strike away and produced a great save to stop the same player from long distances in the final stage.
In another semi-final game Tuesday, Atletico Madrid fought back by attracting a record 31 Cup winner, Barcelona, 4-4.
