The four-time NBA champion hit 12 three-pointers in the victory as Golden State jumped over Memphis in Western Conference standings.

Stephen Curry scored 52 points and Jimmy Butler added 27 points to lead the Golden State Warriors for the 12th time in the last 15 games, winning three consecutive times past the Memphis Grizzlies 134-125.

Curry scored 16 of 31 shots on Tuesday. This included 12 of 20 over the 3-point arc, with 10 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steels.

The 37-year-old posted his second 50-point game of the season, placing 25th on the NBA’s all-time scoring list in the process. Curry hit two free throws midway through the third quarter, passing Jerry West (25,192) on the Wrist, finishing the night with 25,205.

Draymond Green received 13 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists for the Warriors.

Ja Morant led the Grizzlies with 36 points and six assists. Jaren Jackson Jr. scored 22, while Desmond Bane scored 19 points and Santi Aldama 18. Rookie big man Zach Edey finished on a career-high 16 boards to go with 10 points and four blocks.

The Warriors (44-31) also passed Memphis (44-32) and finished fifth in the Western Conference. The Grizzlies lost their seventh time in eight games, including back-to-back home losses to the Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics and Warriors.

The Golden State has improved to 19-5 since Butler arrived on trade with the Miami Heat. Memphis has fallen 8-14 since the All-Star break.

The Grizzlies followed Jackson’s lane floaters with four people leading in the fourth quarter with 3:38 left, but the Warriors regained the lead 123-122 with two free throws from Butler. Golden State went 8-8 on a free throw at the final 2:30 minutes.

Curry scored 32 points at halftime with 11/16 shooting. This included being 10-10 over the arc, leading the Warriors to a 74-66 advantage on the break.
