Visit Britain, in partnership with Meetengland, at Meet at Wales, Visitscotland’s business event held its second association meeting at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Wales, February 11-13, 2025 .
The conference, with the theme of “Today’s Bids,” brought together 70 industry experts, including organizers of British countries, city conventions, international associations and specialist conferences.
Through relaxed discussions, workshops and hands-on learning, representatives discussed the status of the event bidding process from the perspective of destinations, associations and organizers.
Developed in collaboration with #Meet4Impact, this framework supports UK destinations and impacts on eight capitals: nature, construction, political, cultural, financial, human, intellectual and social Define and measure goals and work with clients.
Visitbritain’s Head of Business Events Paul Black holds meetings, helps to grow key UK sectors, and works with organizers to create a wider impact, and to create a role for technology in planning and execution of events. It emphasized the importance of the Association’s Parliament to discuss the increase.
Black said: “We would like to thank the team at ICC Wales and the team at Celtic Manor Resort, meet with Wales for the partnership of this year’s conference, and industry partners to the UK Professional Parliament Organizers Association, Event Business, The Business European Association executives and countries to support the of Events event programme.”
“We’ve been working hard to get the most out of our business,” said Daniel Bounds, sales director at ICC Wales.
Apart from the educational itinerary, participants visited the University of South Wales to learn that research and sector development is taking place.
