Workplace mental health is no longer a peripheral concern. It is central to how event institutions attract talent, provide excellent work and maintain their teams. With Mental Health Awareness Week in full swing, it’s the perfect time to spotlight the institutions leading the rates when it comes to staff well-being.

From in-house mental health training to flexible work and proactive policies, these companies are not only talking about change, they are offering it.

hierarchy:

A brand experience agency, Strata offers free access to confidential employee assistance lines and private health insurance, including professional mental health support for its employees.

Several team members have completed mental health training and can be used for informal support. There is also a “Stuff hating” initiative. This allows employees to take immediate breaks due to personal issues by emailing managers about the required period of time they need to “stuffing.” There are no questions.

They also encourage all employees to respect their personal time by avoiding out-of-hours emails and messages except in emergencies, and encourage all employees to respect their personal time, to help them effectively manage their time to use tools such as “delayed sending”, reminders, “do not get in the way”, and diary blocks.

Group Chief People Officer Jake Shackborough said: “We regularly review how we prioritize and support team mental health and wellbeing. The Active Social Committee organizes monthly events such as lunches, wellness activities, and team building sessions to support both physical and mental health.”

We are colliders:

Brand Experience Agency We Are Collider offers tools as part of the perks package, including access to counseling, CBT, and a free welfare app.

“We’re committed to working with people who are looking for a way to help people understand the needs of our customers,” said Tracy Sorgiovanni, managing director. “We believe that mental health support within the industry should not be reactive, it should be burned into culture and systematic within the labor practices of the institution.

“We feel that all staff can be open about mental health with managers and agency leaders, and that those managers are empowered to implement support mechanisms.”

It will be your element:

Wellness Event Agency creates experiences that prioritize human sustainability and spiritual well-being, not just event participants but also within team culture.

Their work focuses on events and activation centered around calm, connection and psychological safety, often providing moments of pause in high energy environments.

Founder Lucy Eden said: “We advocate for flexible work, open conversations about mental health, and ongoing learning about happiness practices. For us, happiness is not a trend, but a foundation of creativity, collaboration and lasting impact.”

Evolution of events:

Creative Director Anna Peters said:

The full-service event agency will evolve the event and evolve the slow, flight-free trip of the champion as an important part of the culture and client’s Offy. As founding members of Travelperks, we pay our teams “travel day” and give them a trip by train rather than flying, switch off, reflect and make time truly present to arrive.

Internally, it provides flexion times, happiness days and peer round tables to create a supportive and balanced work environment. As for the event, they embedded happiness into the event design itself.

Peters said: “Through our partnership with Be In Your Element, Sands End’s DDR package includes selection of happiness activities as a standard, making wellness a seamless part of the experience rather than an optional add-on.

Brave group

Intrepid Collective offers flexible work policies, extended leave allowances, and open culture. The agency also offers employees the benefits of monthly wellness, which they want, but you can use.

Their events are designed to bring people together, whether it’s a colour-by-color installation aimed at encouraging people to pause that day, or a figure-by-number installation aimed at encouraging a holistic program of yoga, candlemaking and journaling.

Co-founder and director Megan Ansty said: “Providing moments of self-care and reflection, the majority of the events we produce takes place outdoors in carefully curated settings.

Anstee added: “The benefits and impact of integrating wellness into events and cultures have been proven. We want our teams, clients and communities to feel supported, so we can thrive.”

CTL Communication

CTL Communications serves as a fully remote organization and promotes a culture of belonging and prioritization to support teams’ mental health.

They offer private healthcare programs. It offers free access to self-help apps such as quick and easy access headspace and free talking therapy.

They also provide flexible work for those who need a little extra personal time and fund office space for those who may prefer to avoid others outside of their home. Similarly, the agency performs CTL actions. It aims to promote the promotion that a one-month program has been proven to significantly improve mental health. Previously, they joined the Jordanian heritage, sponsored a Suicide Prevention Conference, spotting signs, and sponsoring ways to speak emotionally about suicide.

Founder and CEO Katherine Turner said, “We prioritize mental health by raising awareness and having open and honest communication. We are not afraid to tackle unpleasant topics.

asembl.group

ASEMBL has implemented an internal initiative in recent years called ASEMBL.Connects, which focuses on creating a culture that employees feel professionally and personally valued and supported.

It also implements private health covers and new project management tools to help you manage your workloads. Private Health Cover includes an employee assistance program that offers comprehensive well-being screenings and confidential counseling sessions.

Sophie Cresswell of Business and Office Manager said: “As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, we are proud to highlight how we can advocate for team happiness at Asembl. The fast-paced event world is exhilarating and demanding, so mental health support is more than just a box.

She added: “We celebrate achievements, mark birthdays and work anniversary, embracing awareness and holidays, recognize and appreciate the fun and thoughtful touch of the office, give team cries, regular one-on-one, open anonymous feedback and quarterly team meetings.

wonder

“We’re looking forward to seeing you in the future,” said Lucy Montgomery, Wonder’s Head of Client Services. “Because events are widely considered one of the most stressful industries, promoting positive mental health and preventing burnout is strangely absolutely important.

They offer bigger things like bright, well-set offices, cupboards full of healthy snacks, early Friday finishes, run clubs, team multi-trained mental health first aiders, enhanced mental health coverage, happiness policies, breathing work classes, team ice bath policies and more.

Montgomery added: “When it comes to client events, there is no difference between the participants and the industries they represent. Ultimately, we want all participants to walk away, be considered, cared for and listened to in a great experience,” he added.
