Corporate Events agency Aok Events is celebrating its 25th birthday this year. This marks a quarter-century of creativity, innovation and unforgettable experiences.

Founded in 2000 by Alex Hewitt and Jo Greenstock, the AOK event has grown from a small team with big ambitions to a thriving company of 40 staff. Over the past 25 years, AOK Events have provided over 30,000 events to over 2 million guests around the world.

Looking back on this milestone, CEO and co-founder Alex Hewitt said: “We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved. When we started, we didn’t know where the journey would take us, but we always believed in the power to deliver truly important events.

From the earliest times, this business has been built on people’s first cultures, and has been built on friendship, creativity and an unwavering commitment to providing clients.

Early partners such as Simon Hanbury, Andy Fieldhouse and Victoria Sloan helped lay foundations, while guidance from Neds Giles Tosy and Mike Kershaw supported AOK’s growth and evolution.

Today, a new generation of leaders, who have been dedicated to the company for over a decade, continues to advance AOK with the same energy and spirit that defined it from day one.

The team recently came together to celebrate the milestone at their unforgettable 25th birthday party.

Secretly organized by team members, the celebration began with a drink reception at the Grove Hotel. The evening continued with a nomadic dinner in the Hertfordshire countryside, featuring roaming bands, delicious local feasts, fire-setting performances and dances to the night. It was a proper tribute to the creativity, friendship and spirit that has defined the company for 25 years.

Hewitt added: “The amazing team, past and present, our loyal clients and trusted suppliers are at the heart of everything we do. We are extremely grateful for their support and friendship over the years. We’re just starting out.”

The company continues to celebrate its 25th anniversary with a series of celebrations and initiatives that reflect its passion for providing exceptional experiences.
