RefTech, an event registration, scan and badging solutions company, will be unveiling its latest innovation, ScanPod Mobile, at Stand B45C at Excel London on February 27th and 28th.
ScanPod Mobile is designed to provide greater flexibility and real-time data capabilities for scanning participants, providing a handheld solution that complements RefTech’s existing event technology.
Scanpod Mobile is built on the success of the original Scanpod and offers entry scan, session & seminar scan, validation scan, access control, and all important scan features that are representative. When connected via local Wi-Fi or mobile data, ScanPod Mobile provides real-time access to the event database, providing immediate updates and live data tracking.
One notable feature of Scanpod Mobile is its ability to integrate with existing ScanPods. Organizers can use both technologies together or individually, depending on the needs of the event. For example, a self-scan pod can be located at the main entrance, but staff can use scanpod mobile at the side entrance, or both can work at the same checkpoint, providing flexibility.
Advantages of major organizers:
Revenue Protection: Real-time verification ensures that badges are not passed and provides protection against unregistered access. Live Data Access: Instant Participant Tracking means that organizers can monitor capacity and flow in real time. Live Entry Control: Perfect for meetings with multiple sessions and ticketed events. Compact & Portable: Works on Android and iOS devices. Enhanced Delegate Management: Assign delegate packs or catering qualifications while preventing misuse.
Margaret Reeves, Managing Director, Reftech, said: ScanPod Mobile offers the best world of both worlds. Staff can ensure staff members are greetings, scans and in-person participants while making data instantly available. ”
Reftech will also be used to demonstrate Scanpod Mobile in the International Confex 2025 and scan participants into seminar theaters. Come to their stand to see more details on the stand B45C.
