Doctors without borders target humanitarian workers and bash Israel for blocking aid and mass murders to Gaza.

According to the Medical Doctors of Borderless Health Institutions (MSF), Palestinian lives are systematically destroyed as Israel shows a “blatant neglect” of the safety of humanitarian workers, just as it shows Israel’s continued bombardment of the Gaza Strip.

“Gaza has been transformed into a tomb for the Palestinians and the masses of those who come to their aid,” Enclave’s MSF emergency coordinator Amande Bazerolle said in a statement Wednesday.

Last month, Israeli forces fired a fire on an ambulance in Gaza, killing 15 doctors and rescuers in an incident that prompted international condemnation.

“We are witnessing in real time the destruction and forced displacement of the entire population of Gaza,” she said.

Medical facilities are not exempt from attacks or evacuation orders by Israeli forces. The MSF team has had to leave many facilities, but other teams continue to operate with the patients because staff and patients are trapped inside and unable to leave safely for hours at a time.

“Humanitarian responses are hardly under the weight of anxiety and serious supply shortages, as they are not safe anywhere for Palestinians and those trying to help them, and few people are there, even if they have options to access care,” Bazerolle said.

Israel resumed air bombings and ground operations on Palestinian territory in March after destroying a two-month ceasefire in March. Thousands have been killed and many more have been evacuated since then. Israel has also blocked humanitarian aid from entering Gaza since March 2nd.

The United Nations says there is a shortage of medical supplies, fuel, water and other essentials.

Israeli military “remain in security zones”

On Wednesday, Israeli Defense Minister Katz said Israel’s “policies are clear and humanitarian aid cannot be entered into Gaza.”

“In the current reality, no one is allowed humanitarian assistance to Gaza, and there is no preparation to allow this type of assistance,” he said.

The Israeli army said, “The enemy [Israeli] “Communities in a temporary or permanent situation in Gaza,” he said.

Reporting from the Jordanian capital Amman, Noor Ode of Al Jazeera, said that continuous mediated efforts to Israel and Hamas seem to have reached a “dead end.”

“Israel is trying to force a temporary ceasefire agreement in exchange for allowing critically necessary assistance to Gaza. Israel is also committed to discussing ending the war of genocide in Gaza if Hamas agrees to disarm up to 200 members from the strip and to defect,” she said.

“Hamas has shown flexibility in many issues, but the movement says that throwing your arm away without finishing your profession is a red line. But Hamas is running out of options. Gaza is getting rid of. People are running out of hope and patience,” Ode added.

Israeli forces have taken over a wide area of Gaza in recent weeks. With the blockade, the continued fighting exacerbated the already devastating humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Since October 2023, at least 51,000 of them, most of their children and women, have been killed in Israeli attacks.
