Manchester United scored twice in the final minutes of extra time to round the quarter-finals against Old Trafford’s Lyon.

Harry Maguire scored in a dying seconds to help Manchester United get stolen in the Europa League semifinals with an Olympic Lyon sensational 7-6 total victory in the quarter finals.

The thrilling second-leg tie was an extra time after United ditched a two-goal lead in the night and returned to 2-2 after 90 minutes.

However, United made the numerical advantages given to them after Corentin Torisso’s late red card at normal times. Maguire sent Old Trafford to Delyllium with a 121st minute header, sealing off a 5-4 victory in Game 2.

It was the host who scored an early lead when Manuel Ugarte slotted home after 10 minutes before Diogo Dalot doubled the Hosts’ lead just before the break.

However, when the minutes were engraved, nerves creeping up, and two goals drew the match in six minutes from Torisso and Nicolas Tagliafico, leaving tie level in sensational ways.

Torisso’s slow sendback looked back at momentum in court by United, but Cerki’s amazing strike and Lacazette’s cool touch penalty seem to have solved the exhilarating contest.

Fernandez’s spot kicks straight on the other side. Home supporters wanted another dramatic finale. Maguire has a final say.

Tottenham overcomes Frankfurt

Tottenham also put the domestic issues on one side by sealing the place in the last four.

Dominique Solanke’s first half penalty secured a 1-0 victory over Eintrohat Frankfurt and a 2-1 total victory.

The victory lives on the Spurs’ hopes to save the desperate campaign that tormented them in 15th place in the Premier League. The deep running in the second level competition provided a rare moment of optimism. And the victory will not only bring the first trophy since 2008, but also the Champions League qualifiers next year.

Athletic Bilbao reached the semi-finals after a 2-0 victory over the Rangers following a 0-0 draw in the first leg.

Lazio vs Bodo/Glimt also spent some extra time. Lazio won 2-0 in the night and leveled the tie 2-2 in the collective.

The Spurs needed VAR’s support when they were awarded a foul penalty by James Madison’s Frankfurt goalkeeper Kaua Santos.

Solanke fired in the middle for a decisive goal in the 43rd minute.

Oyhan Sunset and Nico Williams have become Bilbao’s targets against the Sun Mums Rangers.
