The event is more than cricket and beer at the sticky wicket that created the “event industry summer day” scheduled for the Old Wimblenian Cricket Club on July 17th.
Over the past 18 years, the events industry has raised over £600,000 for its main tavern through sticky ticket gates.
Sticky Wicket Chairman Laura Tythcott said he is proud of the philanthropy that Sticky Wicket has achieved over the years.
On this day, the Sticky Wicket Cup will appear, where teams made up of event companies face each other head-on. The team includes Easyfairs, Olympia, 19, and exhibition news.
Tickets for the Day Festival are £30 (£25 in advance). This includes wristbands for afternoon beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks from the bar.
Several great raffle prizes are also available and can be purchased on the day.
All proceeds go to charity, so even if you don’t like cricket, it’s all for a valuable cause.
