Analysis of the satellite image shows that Israel destroyed dozens of homes in BPOSSIBLE REACH, a ceasefire condition.

Israel destroyed dozens of homes in Rafa, southern Gaza, despite the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.

The crossing of Rafah’s Egypt and Gaza has served as an important lifeline for the enclave for decades, but was closed by Israel in May 2024.

Israel delves into the Philadelphi Corridor, a 14-km (8.7 miles) land along the Egyptian-Gaza border since it seized control of the border area in violation of its peace agreement in 1979. It’s here.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has emphasized the importance of staying in the hallway despite its illegality.

According to Sanad, images taken from January 19th to 21st show that Israeli forces built a sand fortress at the intersection of Rafa.

Additionally, the agency said a new military pre-post base was established north of the intersection.

The Army has also built a 1.7 km (1.1 mile) road surrounding the intersection and runs parallel to the sandy fortress.

Israeli forces also keep thousands of Rafa residents from their homes, with dozens of Israeli military vehicles trying to get home, wounded and killed.

Israel is essentially building “a buffer zone that allows you to move away from you from any kind of fighter jet or technically hostile environment within an otherwise friendly environment.” said Hams Atter, Palestinian defense analyst.

As part of the ceasefire that began on January 19, Israel agreed to reduce its regional troops before withdrawing its troops entirely by the 50th day of the agreement.

However, analysis carried out on satellite images taken between January 19th and February 1st shows that Israeli forces continue to build in the area and in the city of Rafa, particularly in the neighbouring areas of Assalam, Idari and Teruzarav. It shows that 64 buildings are being demolished and bulldosed. .

The demolition occurred just 700 meters (766 yards) from the Egyptian border. At the same time, Sanad has identified at least six homes that have been destroyed in Tal as the Sultan, just over 750 meters (820 yards) from the Egyptian border.

“This is a war crime because they are destroying homes,” Atta said, referring to the fourth Geneva Convention, which prohibits the destruction of private property.

Meanwhile, Gaza’s Health Ministry Director Munir Al Barsh said on Tuesday that Israeli attacks, misfires or fatal injuries that were previously injured have killed 118 people since the ceasefire agreement was implemented. Ta.

In addition to military violations of the ceasefire, Israel does not allow sufficient amounts of essential humanitarian assistance, including food, fuel, tents and emergency shelters.

Rafa Mayor Ahmed Al-Sfi has remained evacuated for most of the city’s residents, with an estimated 200,000 people being evacuated to the Al-Mawasi Khan Yunis area and elsewhere in Gaza and unable to return home. He said.

He said early estimates show that 90% of Rafa’s homes are damaged, with about 52,000 suffering from varying degrees of destruction.
