The historic London venue at the Parliamentary Centre, based at the headquarters of the Trade Union Conference (TUC), confirmed that it will cease trading as a meeting and event venue on June 30, 2025.

This follows the announcement that the 2024 Grade II listed Congressional home is for sale. Because TUC is looking to buy new suitable buildings that will better support TUC and its union decades away.

Congress House has been the headquarters of TUC since 1958, but Congress Center first began hosting corporate and private events in 1999 in 16 multipurpose spaces.

Over the years, its Congressional Hall has been transformed by major brands such as Warner Bros., Microsoft, Barremineral, and Yahoo for conferences, awards ceremonies, launches, gala dinners and fashion shows. The TUC also utilizes a historically important foundation for many flagship conferences, gatherings and events.

The Congressional Center has appeared in popular television shows such as Killing Eve and Netflix’s The Crown.

Ruby Chagger, Congress and Sales Manager, Congress Center, said: “After delivering world-class events in iconic buildings for over 25 years, it has been saddened to reach the end of this era, working with many major British and international organizations.

She added: “We would like to personally thank all our customers, our entire team, our dedication to creating an incredible event and TUC for their years of support. We are extremely proud of the legacy we have created together.”

The Council Centre has not made any external employment reservations prior to its final closure on June 30, 2025.
