The iPhone 16E is the fourth generation of the model that has been sold at a historically dramatically lower price.

Apple is looking to expand its audience for a bunch of artificial intelligence technologies that it hopes to revive demand for its most profitable product lineup, and the more sophisticated and expensive iPhones are the best The version has been released.

The iPhone 16E, announced Wednesday, is the fourth generation of models that are selling at a dramatically lower price than the standard and premium models of the iPhone. The previous bargain bin model was called the iPhone SE, and the last version was released in 2022.

Like the high-priced iPhone 16 lineup announced last September, the iPhone 16E has an array of AI features that automatically summarise text and audio, and create on-the-fly emojis while making the virtualization of your device smarter. Includes computer chips with soup needed to process. Assistant, Siri. It also has a stronger battery and camera.

All of these upgrades are $600 for the higher starting price on the iPhone 16E, up 40% from the $430 on the last iPhone SE. However, the iPhone 16E is more affordable than the cheapest standard iPhone 16 at $800. The new phone will be available in stores on February 28th, but can be pre-ordered starting Friday.

Maximize reach and profit

Apple is interested in maximizing more people from selling higher-priced products, and seducing more people into the product field, according to Dipanjan Chatterjee of Forrester Research Analyst. They are trying to balance their desire to provide an iPhone.

“The problem with low-end products in a gorgeous portfolio is that you want it to be good, but not so good that you cannibalize the crown jewel,” Chattersee said.

Apple has been promoting its foray into AI since June last year, but the full feature set has not been released in the US yet, and the technology is still not available in parts of the world.

The delay in creating what would call the iPhone’s AI “Apple Intelligence” was a result of the free software update, when California’s Cupertino Company was slightly soaked from the 2023 level during past holiday seasons. It was widely available.

Apple has lost its position primarily in China and has yet to specify when the iPhone’s AI technology will be available. However, the company recently attacked an AI partnership with China’s AI ALIBABA, which can pave the way for technology that comes to the country’s iPhone in the first half of this year.

In addition to being able to handle AI for the first time, the iPhone 16E has a different look than the previous SE models. It has a 6.1-inch display screen, slightly larger than the 4.7-inch display on the SE model, and does not have the home screen button that SE had. The new iPhone 16E includes face recognition options to unlock devices, as well as expensive models.
