Barcelona recovered a three-point advantage over Real Madrid at the top of Lariga, earning a 4-1 home victory over Girona.
Barcelona hit visitors Girona 4-1 in the Catalan football derby after Robert Lewandowski scored the net twice in the second half, beating Leagens 3-2, 3-2 on Hansi Frick’s 3-2 side-point at Lariga’s top.

“It’s very clear to see that when they had the ball this afternoon it wasn’t easy for us. We knew we were going to stand up to a great team,” Danjuma said of Barcelona.
“After scoring, I thought I could take something out of the game, so I could put a little more pressure on them. But they got second and third… and it got very difficult.”
