The association expects a surge in creative institutions to become new members

Silver Marketing Association, a B2B membership organization focused on reaching and impacting mature markets, has seen a massive surge in creative agencies that have joined the ranks over the past six months.

According to CEO Debbie Marshall, the addition of five institutions over the past six months means that more participation is expected, meaning it will help understand and effectively target mature consumer markets. It reflects a growing awareness of importance.

Marshall is keen to strengthen the expertise of teams in this rapidly expanding, profitable sector, and to help more junior members of staff understand demographics better. It emphasizes that it is focused on a particular focus.

She shows that the business case for focusing on mature consumers is compelling, showing that 74% of the domestic wealth in the UK will decrease by 25 in the next 20 years, over the 50s. Marshall said: “Over 50 markets are more than just segments. They are economic powers driving nearly half of global spending growth. The two newest members of the association are Bluesoup, a Manchester-based Institution of Action and offices in Devon and London.
